The current Walgreens rebate period ends this Saturday, the 30th. September's rebate period starts tomorrow, the 29th. So for the next two days, the August and September Easy Saver's overlap. Because of the awesome diaper deal last month, most stores have decided not to accept 2 Easy Saver coupons for the same item. (I don't understand why they overlap the deals if they don't want you to use both coupons, but that is another story.)
Even without using two Easy Saver coupons, there are still some deals that overlap using rebates. Here is what I see:
Chemistry Shampoo, Conditioner or Treatment: $7.99
August: there is a $3.00 Easy Saver coupon (pg. 12)
September: this is free after rebate (#5)
Final Price: OVERAGE of $3.00
Garnier Fructis Shampoo, Conditioner or Stylers: $3.49
MC: $1.00 off in 5/4 RP, 6/22 RP, 7/20 SS or 8/24 RP
August: there is a $1.00 off Easy Saver coupon (pg. 12)
September: Purchase $20.00 in Garnier hair care, skin care or hair color, receive $10.00 rebate

$3.49 x 6=20.94
-$6.00 MC
-$6.00 Easy Saver
-$10.00 rebate
=OVERAGE of $1.06
Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller: $11.98
August: there is a $5.00 off Easy Saver coupon (pg. 32)
September: Purchase $20.00 in Garnier hair care, skin care or hair color, receive $10.00 rebate (this can be mix and matched with the previous deal, but there is a limit of 1 rebate)

$11.98 x 2= $23.96

=$3.96

Mix & Match Scenario:
(3 hair products) $10.47 + (eye roller) $11.98=$22.45
-$3.00 MC (hair)
-$8.00 Easy Saver (hair+eye)

I tried last month to get that diaper deal, but our walgreens doesn't put out the next months booklet until the other one is expired. Bummer.
But if I do go and get the products that are for the Sept free after rebate items with the 10$off... will they honor that b/c the date on the receipt? Did that make sense. B/c I dont necissarily need the coupons in the book for the free after rebate items.
Man alive have you ever been busy. At the first post I had decided to go get some of the Sept free after rebate items but wow you just gave us some great ideas on how to get the bang out of our buck! Thank you!!!

Even if your store doesn't put out the Easy Saver booklet early, you can either ask them for a copy, or print out a copy of the coupons from home. You don't need to print out the whole book, you can just print out the page you need. I did that last month and it worked out great.
And yes they will honor it because September's rebate period begins on August 29th.

How does it work? I am in VA and in my Easy Saver August book on most of the coupons it says - instant value coupon - expires 7/26/08. How can you use it at the end of August?

Walgreens misprinted all of the coupons in their Easy Saver catalogs for August. They will still honor them until August 30th, the date on the front of the catalog.
